In an effort to better share news, opinions, and analysis of emerging trends in the sustainable building industry, CTG Energetics has launched a new blog at http://ctgenergetics.blogspot.com.
The launch of the blog coincides with this year's Greenbuild Conference, taking place in Boston on November 19-21. CTG is sending 24 people to the conference, and will use the blog as an opportunity to communicate details on topics such as the launch of the new LEED 2009 rating system.
CTG President Malcolm Lewis believes the blog will offer the opportunity to stay connected with clients in a casual yet informative format. "In our industry, technology, regulations and legislation are constantly changing and affecting the strategy of our clients. Our goal is to stay in front of these changes and help our clients gain a competitive advantage."
In addition to LEED 2009, an initial blog topic will come from CTG's Director of Energy Services, Gail Stranske. Ms. Stranske is participating in a specialized panel discussion at this year's conference. The session will address LEED requirements for the Energy & Atmosphere section with respect to buildings that are connected to district networks for heating or cooling. Her session will review new USGBC guidelines and provide professional advice on implementation.
CTG recommends the blog as an excellent resource for those attending the Greenbuild conference; however, individuals who are unable to attend in person are also encouraged to follow along as well. Highlights and discussions of interesting topics will be posted throughout the conference.
Visitors are welcome to post comments and questions. Users may also subscribe to the blog and receive updates every time a new post is published.
