Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block (EECBC) Grants

CTG is actively assisting local governments with efforts targeting EECBC programs. Given the unprecedented funding opportunity combined with short timeframe to apply for funds, CTG is assisting clients in a three step process:
  1. Proposal Preparation: As an initial step CTG can work with municipalities with tasks such as: facilitating charrettes and workshops, comparative analysis of project opportunities, development of Energy Efficiency Conservation Strategies (EECS), and proposal review and writing.
  2. Project Planning and Reporting: Entities receiving funds in excess of $250,000 will be required by the DOE to submit plans on how EECBG funds will achieve the goals of job creation, energy savings, and environmental improvement. CTG can provide project planning and systematic assessments that will provide the foundation for project success. Examples of initiatives include: Sustainable Facility Program Development, Monitoring and Reporting System Development, Climate Action Plan Development, and Energy Master Plan Development.
  3. Project Implementation: CTG can help clients at the point of project implementation with a variety of services including effective learn-by-doing training, performance reporting to meet DOE requirements, and turn-key services such as facility audits, retro-commissioning, and LEED consulting.
