COMMISSIONING PROJECT ENGINEER
Position Mission/Location
Build depth, diversity, and strong analytical capabilities in our high performance building consulting team. Deliver high value engineering consulting services to clients via our commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy audit, LEED for Existing Buildings High Performance, and energy analysis services.
This position can be based in CTG's Irvine, CA or Denver, CO office.
Specific Duties
- Support commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy efficiency analysis, LEED for Existing Buildings, and energy audit projects, under the supervision of senior consultants/engineers
- Perform mechanical and electrical system design reviews as part of commissioning and LEED consulting services
- Research on-going developments with energy codes and high performance building standards
- Evaluate new technologies related to building MEP systems, renewable energy, and water conservation
- Assist with project management tasks
Capabilities/Attributes Required
- Strong technical background in building MEP systems
- 2+ years experience in mechanical/electrical engineering of building systems, design and/or operations & maintenance
- Demonstrated skills in delivering excellent customer/client service
- Excellent oral and written communications/presentation skills in English
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field
Desired Qualifications
- Participation in multiple completed LEED building projects
- LEED AP credential
- Master’s Degree in related field
- Licensed P.E. in Mechanical Engineering, or demonstrated progress towards achieving P.E.
